Charlie Phillips is a media lawyer based in London. He is a qualified solicitor, and is Head of Legal and Commercial Affairs at the UK’s Association of Independent Music (AIM). Charlie has always worked in and around music, and has been writing and producing electronic music since the mid 1990s. He continues to produce music under the name Easywork.

He has a degree in Egyptology and Akkadian from Oxford University, and an MA from SOAS in Middle East Historiography, Anthropology and Arabic. He has travelled throughout the Middle East and Asia, as well as a few other countries, where he always enjoys taking photos and looking into local culture and heritage.
