Just a very quick update to say that I have broken my record for views of my SavingFutures photos on Flickr. Yesterday, I had 200 views. What’s interesting is that looking through the stats, no particular photo was viewed significantly more times than any other. On other days, when I’ve had a hundred or so views, one or two images seem to be really popular for the day, and then go back to getting just a couple of views.
Perhaps these photos have been featured somewhere – like my picture of a phallic cloud over Copacabana beach in Brazil, which had a first day spike of about 150 views, just after I posted it to a gallery of rude things in nature. This time, instead of fewer photos getting more views, the opposite seems to be happening. Interesting…
